Theoretically, the range of this network is similar to standard Wi-Fi access points, however, in reality the range may vary based on the environmental conditions or objects.

After iPad’s stupendous success, Apple’s iPhone 4 is set to create new records. According to statements released by Apple and AT&T, the iPhone 4 pre-order sales are already over 600, 000 units which is 10-times higher than the first day pre-order performance of iPhone 3G S last year. Whereas, Apple stated that it is the largest number of pre-orders it has ever taken in a single day and that it is far higher than anticipated. However, the party was partially ruined by the fact that massive traffic caused AT&T’s site to breakdown and have account privacy issues. Reportedly, AT&T website received more than 13 million visits from the customer anxious to check their upgrade eligibility status.

Today Google introduced a free demo version of Google Docs to make new users feel comfortable with the web based tool. Anyone can try out the demo, even if they don’t have an existing Google account. Let’s face it, it’s hard to get someone to sign up for anything only to try it (and possibly not even like it). In a blog post, Google said, “Instead of trying to explain to friends how real-time collaboration in Google Docs works, now you can show them.”
It was no surprise that the web would erupt during the opening day of this year's WWDC. I'm most certainly not the biggest Apple fanboy, but the buzz was most certainly just. I was fortunate enough to follow all of the event via live blog (gdgt and Engadget were certainly best) as it happened. And wow was my notes doc full. There is plenty of great info out there recapping the day, so I figured I would instead account for the impact WWDC made around the web. I saved some screenshots from Google Trends, Twitter, etc. which started in the afternoon and went into the late evening EST. For the most part the results remain the same across the board until they started to die down late last night. Here is a list of 10 (although there were more) words/phrases which trended around the web and some of the screenshots. Enjoy!
