Live Digg Dialog Today with Toyota’s President/COO

Amvona Blog       08 Feb, 2010 | by jonknep

Digg LogoDigg Dialogg allows Digg users to submit questions as well as vote for the best questions to ask to the featured Dialogger. To date, Digg has held 14 Digg Dialogg sessions with such notables as: Tony Hawk; Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger; and even Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

This time around President and Chief Operating Officer of Toyota Motor Sales, USA Jim Lentz is in the virtual hot seat. Who better to talk with on the subject? Lentz has been with Toyta since 1982, and is responsible for sales, marketing and distribution for Toyota, Scion & Lexus vehicles in the United States, in addition to overseeing all corporate matters in the company.

Toyota posted their latest online update last Friday. It starts with three important factoids for all Toyota owners involved in the recall:
1.  We're starting to send letters this weekend to owners involved in the recall to schedule an appointment at their dealer.
2. Dealerships have extended their hours - some of them working 24/7 - to fix your vehicle as quickly as possible.
3. Trained technicians have begun making repairs.

Voting and question submission ended earlier this morning, but in roughly one week voting/submitting period more than 1100 questions were submitted. The Live Digg Dialogg will start today at 5:00pm EST (2:00pm PST).
