The seasons are changing and warm weather is about to be a thing of the past for many of us in the northern regions. What better chilly fall activity than cuddling up with a blanket and playing around with the new Lightroom 3 beta? It's free!
One exciting new feature is the ability to include watermarks on your images. This tool will come in handy to combat those feisty internet image thieves. The watermark feature allows you to control just about everything including the opacity, orientation, font, size and color.
Among the other changes are an improved import window, customizable print packages, and streamlined editing options. Want a tour? Adobe has come out with a three part mini series showcasing the new stuff.
I hope you are as excited about the new Lightroom as I am. Keep in mind that it is a beta version so there are some quirks that still need to be worked out. In other words, don't upload your fall foliage shots only to Lightroom and cry to Adobe about it when they disappear. Happy exploring!
