Man, I love being right! The reports are in, and Google has jumped ahead of AOL to become the third most trafficked email site.

In the past year, Gmail has gained over 11 million unique monthly visitors. It now receives a half million more visitors a month than AOL, and at its current rate of growth, is poised to surpass hotmail by early next year.

In other news Google still owns the search engine world. A recent report showed Google's search engine surpassed all others by almost 10%. Granted, it is too early for the survey to include Bing. But with the role that Google's on, the Microsoft folks should be worried!
